These new projectors are bright, lightweight, and come with an integrated MHL- enabled HDMI input for optional wireless capabilities, making them ideal for work, travel and entertainment on-the-go. With the PLED-W600 and PLED-W800, ViewSonic expands its line of projectors to provide solutions for a wider range of projection applications.



The PLED-W600 weighs 1.76 pounds and has a brightness of up to 600 lumens; the PLED-W800 weighs 1.98 pounds and has a brightness of up to 800 lumens providing for superior brightness in an ultra-light form. The two projectors utilize the latest in solid state Eco-LED technology for more than 20,000 hours of operation time for reliable visual display. The PLED-W600 and PLED-W800 feature WXGA resolution compatible with 720p/1080p content, a contrast of 3500:1, and SuperColor™, a true color enhancement technology that provides richer color quality for amazing and vivid images. Both projectors have 2X digital zoom and automatically adjust video source content to match 4:3, 16:9 or 16:10 for the perfect picture.

ViewSonic’s flagship PLED-W800 comes with a built-in media player that can project Microsoft® Office™ Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents, as well as PDF files, photos and videos directly from a SD or USB flash drive. Connectivity options on the PLED-W800 include, USB, HDMI/MHL and VGA-In, and the optional WiFi dongle ensures wireless capability and compatibility with Miracast™ and DLNA® for true mobility.

The PLED-W600 supports a 120Hz frame rate and has a 1.4:1 throw ratio, allowing a 33-inch (diagonal) image from about three feet away with a maximum image size of 100-inches (diagonal) without losing image quality. With a maximum zoom of 2X for PC and 1.8X zoom for video applications, the PLED-W600 can easily power a presentation or other shared content from an external HD video source or device onto a screen.

Both projectors will be available Q3 2014 for an estimated MSRP of $729.00(USD) for the PLED-W600 and $949.00(USD) for the PLED-W800.
