ViewSonic Upgrades its Popular SC-T25 Raspberry Pi 3 Device with Citrix Workspace Hub Features at Citrix Synergy 2018

Company Introduces a Dual Display Adapter for the SC-T25 for Secondary Monitor Support

Anaheim, CA, CITRIX SYNERGY, Booth #505 (May 8, 2018) – ViewSonic Corp., a leading global provider of visual solution products, showcases the SC-T25 Citrix Ready workspace hub at the 2018 Citrix Synergy conference, May 8-10. Introduced in February 2018, the ViewSonic SC-T25 includes a major platform update through additional tools offered with the workspace hub upgrade. These upgrades provide a wider variety of uses and economical offerings that can be deployed in various industries from healthcare to enterprise and finance to small-to-medium businesses.



The ViewSonic SC-T25 workspace hub upgrade features include: beacon-based session roaming, QR code login, and Citrix Casting. Citrix Casting will enable seamless and secure session roaming from a mobile device to any display connected to the workspace hub. By using secure login credentials on a phone or mobile device, users can connect to their virtual workspace, simply based on the vicinity to a ViewSonic SC-T25 Workspace hub device. This eliminates the need for manual logins and network authentication which results in time-saving and productivity advantages.

ViewSonic also introduced the SC-ADPT-025 dual display adapter for the SC-T25 Citrix workspace hub. Based on the Raspberry Pi Zero, the SC-ADPT-025 adapter features an HDMI output to provide extended dual display support for a secondary monitor in a virtual workspace environment. It enables the expansion of a virtual workspace across two 1080p display and provides for fast and smooth H.264 accelerated graphics performance.

The ViewSonic SC-T25 workspace hub is currently available for an estimated street price of $99.00, and the SC-ADPT-025 will have an estimated street price of $59.99 and will be available June 2018.

Brea, CA (May 8, 2018) – ViewSonic Corp., a leading global provider of visual solution products, announces it has started shipping the M1 ultra-portable LED projector with built-in dual Harman Kardon® speakers. Ideal for sharing instant multimedia, the iF Product Design Award-winning ViewSonic M1 ultra-portable LED projector displays convenient entertainment in just about any room at home and while traveling. For on-the-go professionals, share multimedia confidently with a built-in battery that provides up to six hours* of power, 16GB of built-in memory, and LED technology that offers up to 30,000* hours of usage.



Designed to be compact and lightweight, the ViewSonic M1 weighs about one and a half pounds making it easy to carry from room-to-room at home or in an office environment, and carrying it on the road. Featuring 250 ANSI lumens of brightness, the M1 projector is engineered with a 120,000:1 contrast ratio, as well as a short-throw lens that can display large images in small spaces. Making it easy to share and view a variety of multimedia content, the M1 comes with multiple connectivity options including: HDMI, USB 2.0 and USB Type C, Audio Out and a MicroSD card reader.

The M1 projector utilizes the latest solid-state LED technology, making the projector mercury and lamp free. With support for Full HD (1080p) resolution, the M1 is also 3D compatible with optional PGD-350 3D glasses. The integrated, patent pending Smart Stand provides for simple setup, allowing the projector to be placed in different positions at nearly any angle, while also doubling as a lens cover. When the lens is uncovered, the M1 automatically powers on with full brightness for instant use. A built-in safety feature temporarily turns off the lens when objects are detected too close to the projector.
