A Technology Upgrade Preparing Learning Spaces for The Future at Yaşar University

Yaşar University renewed the display infrastructure of its learning and presentation spaces in partnership with ViewSonic and Info Cube, deploying 75-, 86-, and 98-inch ViewSonic ViewBoard^® IFP51 Series interactive displays along with myViewBoard and ViewSonic Manager solutions. Challenge

Yaşar University needed a scalable display infrastructure suited to every environment for its learning and presentation spaces, which vary in size and usage scenario. Ensuring that academics have a consistent and easy usage experience across all areas, and can readily integrate digital content into lesson processes, was also among the project's core requirements.

In addition, the goal was to enable the displays at different locations to be managed centrally and remotely, and to reduce the IT team's operational burden. The university aimed to unite hardware, education software, and device management under a single ecosystem, building a sustainable structure that both meets current needs and adapts to future technology investments. The goal was thus to make education and technical management processes more efficient, flexible, and easy to manage.

Solution

A scalable solution made up of 75-, 86-, and 98-inch ViewSonic ViewBoard^® IFP51 Series interactive displays, suited to the needs of different learning spaces, was planned for Yaşar University. Display sizes were determined according to the physical structure of the areas, user capacity, and display needs, while the myViewBoard ecosystem created a structure in which academics can more easily produce and present digital content and develop interactive lesson experiences. In this way, each learning space was supported by a display solution suited to its usage scenario, providing a more efficient educational environment.

Supported by ViewSonic Manager, the solution enabled all displays to be managed centrally and remotely, reducing the IT team's operational burden. The different display sizes offered under the same series created a consistent user experience across the university while supporting standardization in management processes. As a result, hardware, education software, and device management were brought together under a single integrated ecosystem, creating an efficient, sustainable, and future-ready education infrastructure across the university.

Result

With the technology upgrade, Yaşar University equipped its various learning and presentation spaces with 75-, 86-, and 98-inch ViewSonic ViewBoard® IFP51 Series interactive displays, gaining a more modern and scalable display infrastructure. The myViewBoard ecosystem supported academics' processes for creating and presenting digital content and running interactive lessons, while providing a more participatory learning experience for students. Different usage scenarios were thus met with a consistent user experience under a single product family.

A structure was created in which all displays can be managed centrally and remotely with ViewSonic Manager, easing the IT team's operational processes. Thanks to the shared software ecosystem, education and technical management processes became executable in a more integrated way. Bringing hardware, education software, and device management together in a single ecosystem, this solution gave the university a more efficient and sustainable education-technology infrastructure while also establishing a flexible foundation for future growth and technology investments.
