CHALLENGE

One of the country’s leading clinical laboratory and diagnostics networks, with a presence in more than 240 clinics across Mexico, needed to standardize the equipment in its patient-care areas and specialized consulting rooms to deliver a more efficient and uniform work experience.

SOLUTION 

An initial 120 ViewSonic VX2476-SMHD monitors were deployed for lab result-delivery stations and consulting rooms where studies such as electrocardiograms are performed. The model was chosen for its ultra-thin design, which optimizes workspace, and its DisplayPort connectivity, which simplifies integration with existing equipment. This project is part of an ongoing technology refresh plan that continues with monthly deliveries to gradually equip the organization’s infrastructure.

RESULT

Standardizing equipment at result-delivery stations and specialized consulting rooms is helping this laboratory network deliver a more consistent experience to patients and medical staff across its more than 240 clinics. The VX2476-SMHD’s ultra-thin design optimizes space in consulting rooms where every inch counts, while its DisplayPort connectivity simplifies integration with already-installed diagnostic equipment. With 30 to 40 additional units shipping every month, the organization is steadily scaling toward a uniform technology infrastructure across all of its locations nationwide.
