What is a newly discontinued "A" stock product?

Our Newly Discontinued "A" Stock products meet "new product specifications." These products have not been sold prior to your purchase, but are being phased out for new incoming product.

What is a refurbished product?

Our refurbished products include evaluation units, customer return units, and cosmetically imperfect units. These products are retested and determined to meet ViewSonic's quality standards before they are sold as refurbished units. Performance may be slightly below performance of a new ViewSonic unit.

For your protection and in accordance to policy, ViewSonic may be required to verify your credit card information should there be any discrepancies.

ViewSonic must validate the information by sending an email to request additional information as follows:

  1. A Credit Card Authorization Form must be filled out and signed
  2. A copy of the card holder's valid ID or Driver’s license (No passport)
  3. Fax the above to 909-444-5616 or email to store@viewsonic.com

We confirm the price of a Product as part of our order processing procedures. In the unlikely event that a price stated on our web site is incorrect, then the following applies: if a Product's correct price is lower than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount and ship you the Product. If a Product's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping, or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.

ViewSonic.com ships with FedEx and USPS. We currently offer Ground, 2 Day and Standard Overnight shipping options. Shipping company will be determined by ViewSonic. To learn more about ViewSonic shipping methods, please read here.

All ViewSonic Online Store products carry a seven (7) day money-back guarantee. If your package from us is received in poor condition or shows any physical damage, please refuse the package and contact ViewSonic Customer Support at 800-888-8583. Any units received with shipping damage and not reported to ViewSonic within two (2) business days cannot be returned for replacement, credit or service under the warranty. If you need to return for credit or refund, please fill out the online Return Material Authorization (RMA) Request Form. Or contact us via e-mail or phone to obtain an RMA number and instructions. If returning product from a bundled promotion, returns must include all pieces of the bundle.

Please write the RMA number on the outside of the box (THIS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT), then pack the item in its original package or a container of sufficient strength or protection (ViewSonic will not be responsible for damage incurred during shipping to us) and return it within seven (7) days from the date you received it to:

The Internet Tax Freedom Act (ITFA), signed into law on October 21, 1998, was primarily intended to prevent state and local governments from imposing new or discriminatory taxes on Internet transactions and on Internet access. Despite its name, ITFA does NOT keep state and local governments from imposing existing sales tax collection requirements on companies selling over the Internet.

As a result, companies selling over the Internet are subject to the same sales tax collection requirements as any other retailers, and are generally required to collect taxes when they ship a product to a destination in a state where they have a physical selling presence. In the United States, ViewSonic has a physical sales presence in AZ, CA, FL, GA, IL, IN, MA, MD, MI, MN, NJ, NV, NY, OH, TX, and WA; as required by law, we charge sales taxes on deliveries to these states, as well as a California Recycling Fee for products shipped to California customers.

Appropriate taxes and duties are applied for all shipments and are automatically calculated for the customer when they place their order. Customer is responsible for all taxes and duties.

ViewSonic understands that our customers value their privacy; therefore we want you to know how we use your information.

When you order, we need to know your name, e-mail address, credit card number, security code, and expiration date, and daytime phone number. This information is necessary so that we may process and fulfill your order as well as notify you of any problems with your order. Currently we do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others. However, any personal information transmitted by you to ViewSonic may be used by ViewSonic to contact you by mail, telephone, electronic mail or other available means. If you do not wish to receive this kind of information from ViewSonic, please send an e-mail to viewsonic@viewsonic.com and put "REMOVE" in the subject heading.

In addition to the information you provide to us, ViewSonic also tracks user sessions in order to evaluate which parts of our site users are visiting and the duration. The tracking method ViewSonic employs for this function allows the user to remain anonymous while still giving us valuable information.

Disclaimer: ViewSonic makes it our priority to minimize the repair turn-around time on all units we service. The standard repair cycle is typically 10 business days from the time we received the unit. In some cases, it could take up to 3 weeks if a unit is waiting on new parts. When a unit is delayed or determined not repairable, ViewSonic will replace it with a comparable or better unit. The remainder warranty time from the owner’s unit will be transferred and continued on the replacement unit.
