European Product Registry for Energy Labelling

To empower consumers with the information they need to make environmentally responsible choices,we promote transparency by providing consumers with detailed product energy consumption information through the European Product Registry for Energy Labelling (EPREL). Through this registry, consumers can access comprehensive data on various aspects of labeled products, including energy consumption,cost-efficiency ratios, water consumption, noise emissions, warranty extensions, spare parts availability,product lifespan, and support.
ENERGY STAR Certified
- Our products are designed to use energy efficiently, helping customers save on electricity costs and reduce their carbon footprint. This dedication to sustainability has been recognized by Energy Star,a voluntary program initiated by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) that sets international standards for energy-efficient consumer products. We take pride in ensuring that our LCD monitors and LFD (Large Format Displays) meet rigorous Energy Star guidelines for both operation and standby power consumption.
- Our dedication to sustainability drives us to constantly enhance the energy efficiency of our products, and we are delighted to reveal that all our LFD selling models incorporate low-power consumption features. Remarkably, 67% of our LFD models and 78% of our LCD monitors have earned the esteemed Energy Star certification, underscoring their outstanding energy-saving capabilities. Looking ahead, our focus is on expanding the range of LFD products that meet the latest Energy Star 8.0 Standard, solidifying our commitment to providing environmentally-conscious solutions.

ViewSonic is proud to offer TCO Certified products - an internationally renowned certification for IT products gained through rigorous, continual assessment of products and supply chains against a strict code of conduct. Evaluated and endorsed by GENICES (Global Ecolabelling Network’s Internationally Coordinated Ecolabelling System) as compliant with ISO 14024 Ecolabel Type 1, TCO Certified encompasses a comprehensive range of socially and environmentally responsible practices, including responsible manufacturing, fair labor practices product sustainability, lifetime extensions, and user health and safety.
As an independent third-party certification, ViewSonic’s TCO Certified products provide consumers with a credible and trusted sustainable option.

EPEAT Award
The Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool (EPEAT) provides a standardized and reliable set of performance criteria for product design, acting as a global rating system for environmentally friendly electronics. EPEAT certification recognizes manufacturers' efforts in reducing the environmental impact of their products, therefore empowering customers to choose electronic devices based on their environmental attributes. By offering a system of transparent and consistent evaluation, EPEAT promotes sustainability worldwide.
In 2024, we expanded our product offerings with the introduction of 6 new EPEAT Gold monitor models, resulting in 62% of our monitor products being EPEAT certified. Additionally, 67% of our LFD (Large Format Display) models also obtained EPEAT certification in the same year.
By 2025, we aim to use green packaging for 86% of our business monitors (VG Series) and meet EPEAT requirements by utilizing green packaging for 59% of our monitors sold in Europe.

Carbon Footprint
Carbon Footprint Report
In 2024, ViewSonic took a significant step towards promoting environmental responsibility by forming an international corporate alliance. This alliance aims to encourage the industry to adopt a standardized and transparent approach to disclosing product carbon footprints. As part of our commitment to minimizing our environmental impact, we employ the Greenhouse Gas Equivalencies Calculator and conduct product carbon footprint throughout our products' life cycle. This process enables us to estimate emissions from materials, production, distribution, and end-of-life management. Building upon an initial 217 product carbon footprint reports in 2024, covering LCD monitors and LFD models.
For full transparency, all product carbon footprint reports are available on our website under the "Carbon Footprint Report" heading, accessible at the bottom of each product model webpage. We continue to strive towards a sustainable future and encourage others to join us on this crucial journey.
Green Packaging
To promote sustainability, we take an environmentally conscious approach to our packaging design – one that minimizes waste and promotes sustainability while enhancing operational efficiency. This involves the standardization of packaging designs within product ranges to maximize the reuse of specialized equipment. In doing so, we optimize the use of materials, minimize waste, and streamline recycling processes. Further contributing to the reduction of our environmental impact, we minimize ink usage by using elegant and minimalist artwork for our packaging designs.
