Automatic discovery (Device List) only works on the same subnet. If you are on a different network, please use the "PIN Code" or "Connection Code" to connect manually.
Troubleshooting Steps:
Verify Connection: Ensure both your device and the ViewBoard are connected to a network.
Check Network Subnet:
Same Subnet: The device name should appear automatically. If not, check if "AP Isolation" is enabled or if broadcast ports are disabled on the router.
Different Subnets (Cross-Network): The device name will not show up in the list due to network security protocols.
Use Manual Connection (Solution):
In the vCastSender app, select [Enter PIN Code].
Type the 6-digit PIN code displayed on the ViewBoard screen to force a connection.
Note:
If the PIN code connection fails, contact your IT administrator to ensure that vCast-required ports (e.g., TCP 5678, 15835) are not blocked by the firewall.
