ClassSwift makes it simple for students to join lessons and interact with their teachers. Follow the steps below to get started. 

Step 1: Join a Session 

You can join a session in two ways: 

1. Scan the QR code displayed on the classroom screen. 
2. Enter the class code at: https://classswift.student.viewsonic.io/ 
3. Click the class url link that the teacher gives you. 

Once on the page, you’ll see two options: 

• Quick Join – For students or guests without a ViewSonic account. 
• Sign In – For students with a ViewSonic account. 

Notes: 

• If your school uses a rostering system (e.g., ClassLink), joining may be handled through your student portal. Please refer to the ClassLink User Manual in Addendum. 
• The Sign In option is not mandatory. Check with your teacher if you should use Quick Join or Sign In. 

Step 2: Quick Join (Guest Access) 

If you are a student joining as a guest: 

1. Pick a seat number from the available list and click Confirm. 
2. Enter your display name. 
3. Click Join Class to enter the session. 
4. You’ll be directed to the live class screen. 

Step 3: Sign In with ClassLink or ViewSonic Account 

• If your school uses ClassLink or another rostering system, look for the ClassSwift icon in your student portal. 
• Click the icon to access your class dashboard. 
• If you are not connected to a rostering system, you can still log in with your ViewSonic account (ask your teacher if this method is required). 

Step 4: Participate with Push-and-Respond 

During class, teachers may send you activities or assessments. To respond: 

1. Click on the assessment to open it. 
2. Choose one of the response options:
   • Edit Content – Draw directly on the page. 
   • Upload Image – Send a picture from your device. 
   • New Canvas – Open a blank canvas for your work. 
   • Submit – Send in your response. 
3. You can review your previous responses in the History section at the bottom of the page.

• Use Quick Join for fast guest access. 
• Use Sign In if you have a ViewSonic account or are required by your school’s system. 
• Always confirm with your teacher which method to use. 
• Engage in activities by responding through Edit, Upload, New Canvas, or Submit.
