What is the broadcast audio mode?

With UNIVERSE's True-to-life Sound, everyone's volume will vary depending on how close or far they are from each other. However, if the broadcast button is toggled, the teacher's voice will be the loudest in the room regardless of a student's proximity to the teacher. Only teachers are allowed to toggle the broadcast functionality.
