What to do if the projector won't turn on or has no power?

Check all cable connections, verify the LED indicator on the AC adapter, and test a different wall outlet.

  1. Verify Connections: Ensure the power cord is firmly seated in the AC adapter "brick" and the plug is fully inserted into the wall outlet.

  2. Check Adapter LED: Look for a small light on the adapter unit.

    • LED On: The adapter is receiving power from the wall.

    • LED Off: The adapter may be faulty or the outlet is inactive.

  3. Test Wall Outlet: Plug the adapter into a different, known-working outlet (e.g., used by a lamp or phone charger).

  4. Brick Connection: Most power supplies come in two pieces; ensure the connection between the wall cord and the brick is secure.

  5. Power Reset: Unplug the DC jack from the projector, wait 10 seconds, reinsert, and hold the power button for 3 seconds.

Note:

  • Warning: Use ONLY the original ViewSonic power adapter. Third-party power supplies may damage the internal circuitry.

  • Tip: If the adapter's LED is on but the projector still fails to power up, the issue may be internal. Please contact ViewSonic support.
