Unique Color Calibration Factory Report
In order to meet professional graphic designers, video editors, and image processors’ high standard of color, ViewSonic utilizes specific color (SRGB,EBU,6500k) calibration procedures into the flow of production. Before delivering, each VP2780-4K monitor is manually examined by a professional color expert in order to confirm that its color, brightness and color temperature match with the sRGB, Native, and EBU (European Broadcasting Union) color gamut standards. In this unique and detailed Color Calibration Factory Report, three sets of color information and manufacturing results are recorded. Delta E is examined and tested to adjust the color difference and to make sure it can achieve Delta E ≤2, one of the highest color accuracy standards. The gamma curve is examined to measure and compare the brightness performance based on light and dark scenarios by observing the changes of luminance. For each VP2780-4K, the 0-256 gray-scale is adjusted to coincide with the Gamma 2.2 curve. Gray-Scale Tracking is then used to trace the status of the color temperature based on different gauges of Gray-Scale, allowing the monitor to display precise color through stable color temperature. In addition, each VP2780 is equipped with its own individual Color Calibration Factory Report which includes the complete information of the monitor and ensures a high performance of precise color.

Uniformity Enhancement for Consistent and Balanced Image Performance
The VP2780-4K’s Uniformity Correction function compensates any luminance and color uniformity imbalance on the screen such as dark spots, uneven brightness, or illegible images on the screen. With the ViewSonic uniformity correction function, gray-scale levels are balanced, and delta E scores are improved to be ≦2. Color reproduction, accuracy, and delta E numbers will all be improved, increasing reliability and offering the highest quality viewing experience from every monitor.

Independent 6-axis Color Adjustment Function
To deliver precise and accurate color performance, the independent 6-axis color adjustment function (red, green, blue, cyan, magenta and yellow) allows users to customize hue and saturation for each color axis individually, without affecting the other color outputs. In addition, the gain and offset functions allow users to control white balance for the upmost control when manipulating contrast and dark scenes.
14-bit LUT and 3D LUT Reproduces 4.39 Trillion Accurate Colors
The VP2780-4K adopts a 14-bit LUT and 3D LUT to convert image color from input signal to panel. The 14-bit LUT provides up to 4.39 trillion color palette, without reducing the signal quality while ensuring true-to-life images. In addition, the 3D LUT ensures smoother color gradations and neutral gray tones.
Preset EBU and Gamma Corrections
