Why are certain options greyed out in the OSD menu?

Certain menu settings are locked based on the current input signal or preset picture mode to maintain optimal image quality.

  1. Verify Input Source: When using digital connections (HDMI, DisplayPort), options like Phase or Horizontal Position are automatically optimized and locked. These are only available for manual adjustment under a VGA (analog) connection.

  2. Check Picture Mode: If the projector is set to a [Preset Mode] (e.g., Movie, Presentation, Dynamic), parameters like Color Temperature or Contrast may be locked to match the specific scene requirements.

  3. Switch to User Mode: To unlock all manual adjustments, change the [Picture Mode] to [User Mode] in the OSD menu.

  4. Disable Auto-Sync: Ensure that [Auto-Sync] features are not overriding manual geometric or timing settings.

Notes:

  • Tip: Greyed-out options do not indicate a malfunction; they ensure the most accurate 1:1 pixel mapping for digital signals.

  • Note: Enabling advanced features like HDR may also lock basic Brightness or Contrast settings.
