VG1656N is a portable 16” 16:10 monitor designed for optimal productivity on the go. A built in battery and wifi casting ability streamline your productivity on the road for a truly wireless set-up, allowing you to extend or mirror your screen on the go. Weighing around 3lbs and about .4” thick, with an intuitive smart cover to both provide versatile viewing options and protect the screen in transit, this portable is optimized to take on the road. The two way power USB-C connectors provide a one-cable solution for multimedia transfer and 60W power charging, either receiving power from a laptop or power bank, or being able to pass through power to the connected device, when the portable is connected to a power source.**

For a seamless transition from office to remote work, this monitor features a built-in 4,000 mAh battery that provides up to 3 hours* of battery life.

Plug-and-Play Wireless Casting
An included USB-C wireless dongle enables you to wirelessly cast content from your laptop, phone, and other devices from almost 50 feet away. Mirror or extend your content on Windows, Mac, or Android with no need for separate apps or software.
Portable Productivity
Weighing under 2lbs. and measuring less than 0.5” thick, this compact monitor is ideal for on-the-go use so you can work more efficiently from nearly any location.
Automatic Rotation
A built-in G-Sensor knows the monitor’s orientation (whether landscape or portrait), and automatically rotates and maximizes the image on screen. This allows you to easily move from portrait to landscape and back, without having to make any adjustments to your display settings.
*This feature requires the vDisplayManager™ app. In addition, automatic rotation does not work when wireless casting.
Versatile Smart Cover
An included smart cover provides on-the-go screen protection. The smart cover also transforms into an adjustable stand for optimal ergonomic comfort and flexible positioning whether in office or on the road.
Extra Screen Space
The 16:10 aspect ratio offers multitaskers extra vertical space to work more efficiently. This design also complements the latest 16:10 laptops for a more streamlined viewing experience.
Easy Auto-Pivot Control
Seamlessly use your portable monitor in both portrait and landscape modes with our free software. Simply download the ViewSonic Display Portal to access vDisplay Manager™, which features an easy on/off toggle for auto-pivot along with other controls. This intuitive control lets you easily switch screen orientations to perfectly accommodate your workflow, whether you’re coding, reading documents, or browsing the web.
For the VG1656N, the auto-pivot function only works when connected via USB-C, and not via the wireless dongle.
