Bring Every Frame to Life with Color

The #ColorProWithMe2026 Video Color Challenge invites creators to transform original footage through purposeful color grading. Set the mood, style the look, and show us how your creative choices can transform a scene.

How to Join

Entering the Challenge

Download our original footage and create your color grade to get started. Then share the transformation and some of the choices behind it. The #ColorProWithMe2026 Video Color Challenge awaits!

1. Download Assets

Save the competition files below. Included are:

  • Raw video clips provided by our judges
  • Visual references with end card assets

For each submission, pick one of the raw clips to edit for step 2.

2. Color Grade

Color grade one of our raw video clips using any software tool you like.

As you edit, take note of which settings you adjusted. For example:

  • Basic Correction
  • Color Wheels
  • Nodes
  • Scopes
  • Curves

These settings will be mentioned in step 3.

3. Edit Video

Structure your video so that it follows this sequence:

  • Start with the first few seconds of the raw video footage
  • Show two or more of the settings you adjusted
  • Continue with your fully color-graded video footage
  • Conclude with our official #ColorProWithMe2026 end card

Make it no longer than 15 seconds.

4. Post on Instagram

Follow @ColorPro and the judges @denis.barbas and @ronald_soethje from your public Instagram account.

  • Creative Vision (40%)

    Originality and intention behind your editing choices.

  • Technical Execution (40%)

    Quality of your color grading technique.

  • Delivery (20%)

    Overall presentation, including context offered by your caption.

  • What is the #ColorProWithMe2026 Video Color Challenge?

    The #ColorProWithMe2026 Video Color Challenge is a contest hosted by ColorPro® where creators color grade provided video footage for a chance to win prizes. It’s all about using color to put your own creative stamp on the scene.

  • How do I join the challenge?

    During the submission period, download the provided footage and create your own color grade using your preferred software. Then post a video by the deadline of November 13, 2026, showing the original footage transition into your finished grade, with in-video labels identifying at least two values you adjusted.

  • What video editing software can I use?

    You can use any video editing or color grading software you prefer, as long as your final submission meets the challenge requirements.

  • What adjustments do I need to show in my color-graded video?

    Your video must label at least two values you manipulated while creating your grade. These could include exposure, contrast, saturation, temperature, highlights and shadows, color wheels, or other color grading controls.

  • Is the competition free?

    Yes! There is no entry fee for the #ColorProWithMe2026 Video Color Challenge.

  • I don’t have a ColorPro monitor. Can I still join?

    Yes. You can enter the #ColorProWithMe2026 Video Color Challenge using any monitor. Since accurate color is especially important when grading video, a display with wide color gamut coverage can help you make more informed color decisions.

  • What are the requirements for joining?

    Post your completed video on Instagram during the submission period using the required format. See How to Join above or view the Terms & Conditions for the full competition requirements.

  • Can I enter the challenge more than once?

    Yes, multiple submissions are allowed, but each will be evaluated individually. Please ensure that each submission adheres to all requirements. See How to Join.

  • What is color grading?

    Color grading is the process of adjusting color and tone to create a particular look, mood, or visual style. Creators can manipulate elements such as contrast, saturation, exposure, shadows, highlights, and individual colors to shape how footage looks and feels.

  • How will entries be judged?

    Entries will be evaluated based on Creative Vision (40%), Technical Execution (40%), and Delivery (20%). Judges will consider the purpose behind your color choices, the quality of their execution, and the impact of your submission. See Judging Criteria.

  • Who are the judges?

    Denis Barbas (@denis.barbas) and Ronald Söthje (@ronald_soethje) are professional videographers who provided the raw video files to be used for this competition. They will select a total of 6 Finalists from among all submissions, and ColorPro will select the one Winner.
