MJ Magallon is a licensed electronics engineer by day and an amateur astrophotographer at night. His passion for chasing light and capturing the stars did not develop overnight. Only after graduating from college and pursuing his engineering career did MJ realize the best medium to express himself and find what he truly enjoys the most – astrophotography. He founded AstroPinas, a local community that aims to educate and encourage the love for astrophotography. MJ’s photos have been published in multiple publications and he continues facilitating astrophotography workshops all over Luzon.
