Foire aux questions

Not sure how to proceed? Read our Q&A below or send a message to @ColorPro on Instagram for additional support.

  • What is the #ColorProWithMe2026 Photo Edit Challenge?

The #ColorProWithMe2026 Photo Edit Challenge is a contest hosted by ColorPro where you can edit any of four select photos for a chance to win prizes. It is not a photography contest, but instead a way to show how you interpret a photograph with color and other visual elements like light.

  • How do I join the challenge?

Start by downloading the competition files on this page and choosing one of the raw photographs included to edit. Save a copy of the image you chose and use your preferred software to color grade it as you like, taking screenshots of the settings as you adjust them. Frame the screenshots using our template. Post your edited artwork, the original photograph, and your framed panel screenshots to Instagram by the deadline with the caption: My #ColorProWithMe2026 Photo Edit Challenge submission for @ColorPro. See “How to Enter” above for details.

  • What photo editing software can I use?

You may use any editing software you like to color grade the RAW photo. Many professional creators work with desktop apps like Adobe Lightroom, but you are free to also try mobile apps or any free tools that allow for color grading. To create composite images of your panel screenshots using our ColorPro frame template in Step 3, you will need compatible software like Adobe Photoshop or Canva.

  • I don’t have a ColorPro monitor. Can I still join?

Any monitor could be used for the #ColorProWithMe2026 Photo Edit Challenge. Since this is a color grading competition, we recommended using a monitor with wide color gamut coverage for the best editing experience.

  • Is the competition free?

Yes! The #ColorProWithMe2026 Photo Edit Challenge has no entry fee and is open to everyone. The only things you’ll need to invest are time and effort.

  • What are the requirements for joining?

Creators could join during the submission period by posting their submission on Instagram using the required carousel format. View Terms & Conditions.

  • What is a RAW photo?

A RAW photo is an image captured directly from a camera sensor with minimal processing, preserving the highest level of detail, color accuracy, and dynamic range. Unlike compressed JPEG files, RAW images retain more data, giving photographers and creators more flexibility to fine-tune exposure, color, and tonal balance during post-production while maintaining exceptional image quality.

  • What is color grading?

Color grading is the process of enhancing and refining the color, tone, and overall visual mood of an image or video during post-production. By adjusting elements like contrast, saturation, highlights, and shadows, creators can achieve a more polished, cinematic, or stylistically consistent look. Color grading is widely used in photography, filmmaking, and content creation to create visual depth, maintain color accuracy, and establish a distinct creative aesthetic.

  • How will entries be judged?

Entries will be evaluated based on Color Intent (40%), Technical Execution (30%), and Visual Impact & Creativity (30%). Judges will assess how effectively your color grading establishes mood and atmosphere, the overall quality and refinement of your edits, and the originality and visual impact of your final image. See “Judging Criteria” above.

  • Who are the judges?

Ashraful Arefin (@ashrafularefin) and Luke Stackpoole (@withluke) are professional photographers who provided the RAW images to be used for this competition. They will select a total of 6 Finalists from among all submissions, and ColorPro will select the one Winner.
