How to set the maximum resolution on your LED monitor?

Adjust the display resolution to the "Recommended" setting in Windows to ensure optimal clarity and eliminate black borders.

  1. Adjust System Resolution:

    • Right-click on the desktop and select [Display settings].

    • Under the [Display resolution] dropdown, select the value labeled [(Recommended)].

  2. Disable Hardware Overscan:

    • Press the physical buttons on your monitor to open the [Menu].

    • Navigate to "Image Settings" or "Advanced Settings".

    • Locate the [Overscan] option and set it to [Off].

Additional Information:

  • About Movie Aspect Ratios: Not all content is formatted in 16:9. If a movie is formatted wider than 16:9 (e.g., Cinemascope), black bars at the top and bottom are expected and do not indicate a malfunction.

  • Tip: Always use high-quality HDMI or DisplayPort cables to ensure support for maximum resolution.
