ViewSonic appoints two senior employees to the ViewSonic UK European team, Kate Denning as the Head of Professional Development Europe, predominately focusing on the education sector and Peter Claxton, Senior Director of EdTech Solutions Europe.
Kate joins ViewSonic Europe with over 9 years of EdTech experience with a specific focus on professional development. Kate has spent much of her career with a competitor. She has led projects from developing a large team of Education Consultants throughout North America, plus created a professional development program for New York City from the ground up. In addition, Kate played a significant role in taking their name from player to market leader.

Peter Claxton joins ViewSonic as Senior Director of EdTech Solutions - bringing over 35 Years of Global EdTech experience. Peters career started as a classroom teacher, immediately recognising the benefits that EdTech brings to driving educational outcomes and attainment for the students and the teachers. Peter has also worked as a local authority advisory teacher, helping pioneer ICT working with leading EdTech companies driving technology adoption at School, Regional and Country Levels - bringing his unique perspective and insight from both education and company perspective.
Peter is passionate about building key business and academic educational partnerships, including working on key EU Erasmus plus knowledge alliance projects in the areas of Initial teacher training collaborating with leading educational technology companies, universities, and schools.
