LONDON – 6th January 2019: ViewSonic Corp., a leading global provider of visual solution products, announces the launch of the new M1+ ultra-portable LED projector. Building on the success of the award-winning M1 projector, the M1+ has a number of additional features including: Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities; embedded dual Harman Kardon® speakers; a lifespan of up to 30,000* hours; and 3D compatibility.

Designed to be compact and lightweight the ViewSonic M1+ weighs less than 800g, making it easy to carry from room-to-room, in an office environment, or take on the road. The M1+ also comes with a built-in battery that provides up to six hours* power from a single charge and 16GB of internal memory – making it ideal for sharing multimedia content instantly.

Featuring 250 lumens of brightness, the M1+ projector is engineered with a 120,000:1 contrast ratio, as well as a short-throw lens that can easily display large images in small spaces. The M1+ makes it easy to share and view a variety of content from multiple sources, as it includes multiple connectivity options including HDMI, USB 2.0 and USB Type C, Audio Out and a MicroSD card reader.

The M1+ projector utilises the latest solid-state LED technology, making the projector mercury and lamp free and ensuring the product has a long lifespan. With support for Full HD (1080p) resolution, the M1+ is also 3D compatible with optional ViewSonic 3D glasses (PGD-350), giving users the power to enjoy content in the format of their choice.

The integrated, patent-pending Smart Stand ensures simple setup, allowing the projector to be placed in different positions and angles, while also doubling as a lens cover. When the lens is uncovered, the M1+ automatically powers on for instant use. A built-in safety feature temporarily turns off the lens when objects are detected close to the projector.

“The M1+ takes our line-up of high-performance ultra-portable projectors to the next level,” said Tony White, AV Director at ViewSonic Europe. “We believe it should be easy for users to share and enjoy multimedia content like YouTube, so the M1+ has been designed to deliver all of that in an eco-friendly portable package.”

The M1+ launches in the UK in March 2019 and has an MSRP of £299
