Usage Data
The Usage Data page in ClassSwift Hub (Admin View) provides a summary of lesson activity across all teachers in your organization. Administrators can review teaching time, session counts, and active-user statistics within a selected date range.
Monitoring Usage Data
Usage Data helps administrators track classroom engagement and platform usage. Filter data by date, review total lesson hours, and export records for further analysis.
Accessing Usage Data
To access and review usage data, follow these steps:
- Log in with your Admin account.
- In the left sidebar, click Usage Data.
- Use the calendar fields to select a start and end date.
- Click Search to update the report.
- Click Export to download the data as a CSV or Excel file.
Main Metrics
The top summary cards display key metrics for the selected date range:
- Total Lesson Sessions (Time): Total hours of lessons conducted.
- Total Lesson Count: Number of individual lesson sessions held.
- Active Users: Number of teachers who conducted lessons during the period.
Teacher Usage Table
Below the summary cards, a detailed table provides teacher-level data. The table includes the following columns:

| Lesson Count | Number of sessions conducted |
| Avg. Lesson Sessions | Average session duration |
| Last Lesson Start Time | Date and time of the teacher’s most recent session |
The table can be sorted by Lesson Sessions or Lesson Count for quick comparisons.
Exporting Data
To export usage data:
- Click Export in the top-right corner.
- Save the file in CSV format for further analysis.
Exported data includes all columns shown in the table and can be used for tasks such as attendance tracking, performance summaries, or audit reports.
Tips for Effective Use
- Narrow the date range to improve report loading speed.
- If a teacher’s name does not appear, they may not have conducted lessons within the selected period.
- For privacy, ensure exported files are only shared within your organization.
