Toggle between "iPad Mode" and "Capacitive Mode" by tapping the top touch sensor of the stylus. The current mode is indicated by the LED color.
Steps:
Locate the Sensor: Find the touch-sensitive area at the tail end (top) of the ACP501.
Tap to Switch: Gently tap the top with your finger to cycle through modes:
Green Light (iPad Mode): Designed for iPad series (supports palm rejection).
Blue Light (Capacitive Mode): Designed for general capacitive touchscreens (e.g., iPhone, Android devices, or ViewBoard).
Confirm Status: If the LED is off, tap once to wake up the stylus before switching.
Notes:
Tip: If the LED flashes red, the battery is low and requires charging.
Note: A "gentle tap" is sufficient; applying excessive pressure to the sensor is not necessary and may affect responsiveness.
