ViewSonic ELITE joins in support of season 1 by including their own Monitor mod competition. Winners of the Thermaltake CaseMOD Invitational will have an all expenses paid trip to Taipei, Taiwan to attend Computex 2019 and show off their case mod.
Each year, E3 brings together gamers and tech enthusiasts to witness all the latest products. This year, ViewSonic ELITE will attend alongside the many other participating companies to showcase their most recent products and give attendees the opportunity to test out their gaming monitors. E3 takes place at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, California from June 11-13.
ViewSonic ELITE will showcase their latest 2019 gaming monitors and features with partner Thermaltake at the annual computer expo, Computex, held in Taipei, Taiwan. Attendees will have the chance to witness the ViewSonic ELITE XG240R and XG350R-C gaming monitors activate their RGB accent backlighting and the many features available when using Thermaltake’s TT RGB Plus software. Additionally, there will be prizes and giveaways for attendants to participate in. Computex will take place from May 28th until June 1st.
First established in 2007, Zotac Cup is an international online gaming platform where gamers from 150 countries compete against one another for both glory and cash prizes. This year, at Computex Taipei, ViewSonic ELITE will be supporting the Zotac Cup League of Legends tournament where players will face off against one another for charity. This year at the South by Southwest (SXSW) Gaming Expo held in Austin, Texas, ViewSonic ELITE will be joining in on the fun by providing XG2402 gaming monitors for the Microsoft Halo Championship Series (HCS). Six teams will meet in the trenches for a high-stakes double-elimination tournament held over three days. The tournament will consist of multiple team battles with 2vs2, a 16-player team match, and ending with a 4vs.4, all for a share of the giant $100,000 prize pool.
ViewSonic will join speedrunners in Växjö, Sweden for the 2019 Winter European Speedrunning Assembly (ESA) taking place from February 26-24. Gamers will race to complete the fastest speedruns of their favorite games while spectators at the event and watching via Twitch.tv watch the excitement and donate money to the speedrunners for charity. This year’s charity is Movember, a men’s health charity that focuses on several male issues but with its current goals to bring awareness to prostate cancer and mental health.
Games Done Quick (GDQ) is a biannual speedrunning marathon held for the purpose of raising money for charity. ViewSonic will be sponsoring the event and providing monitors for gamers as they compete in their favorite games. Since it first began in 2010, GDQ has raised over $16.5 million for various charity organizations. ViewSonic ELITE will continue its support of LANFest charity events throughout 2019. LANFest is a non-profit organization that helps local chapters across the United States host LAN party events several times a year. Gamers come together to play and compete in tournaments of their favorite games for a weekend of nonstop gaming. All LAN parties are open to the general public at the cost of an admission fee, of which 100% of the proceeds are donated to charity.
The Cooler Master Case Mod World Series is a yearly event where contestants show off their creativity and craftsmanship by designing cases for their PCs. In this year’s competition, modders can participate in the ViewSonic Monitor Mod category by submitting a modified ViewSonic gaming monitor along with their Tower Mod (entry must be built with a Cooler Master case) or Scratch Mod (mod must be built without the use of a pre-existing case). In this bonus category, ViewSonic will be selecting two winners, both of whom will be awarded $1000.
The three teams representing the North American region in the 2018 PUBG Global invitational have been decided! Ghost Gaming, Team Gates, and Honey Badger Nations topped the leaderboards in the PGI North American Qualifier, which included 320 teams from Canada, the United States, and Mexico. From July 25th-29th, these three teams will compete in Berlin, Germany against the world’s best PUBG gamers for $2 million in prizes.
The European Speedrunning Assembly (ESA) takes place from July 20-29, 2018. Gamers will converge in Malmö, Sweden in a race to complete the fastest speedruns of their favorite games. In celebration of their 10 year anniversary, ZOTAC will be hosting the ZOTAC Cup Masters at COMPUTEX Taipei. The event takes place from June 5th -June 9th and includes a prize pool of $100,000 USD.

The international event features two regional tournaments attracting top teams from North America and Europe.
