Audio issues during mirroring are typically caused by Android OS version limitations or missing App permissions. Android 10 and above now support internal audio capturing.
Steps:
Check Android Version: Ensure your device is running Android 10 or later.
Note: Devices running Android 9 or older are restricted by Google's privacy policy from sharing system audio via third-party apps.
Grant Microphone Permission: Go to [Settings] > [Apps] > [vCastSender] > [Permissions] and ensure [Microphone/Audio Recording] is set to "Allow."
Verify App Settings: Open the vCastSender app, enter the settings menu, and confirm that the [Audio Source/Sharing] toggle is enabled.
Check Volume/Mute: Ensure your mobile device is not on "Silent Mode" and the ViewBoard volume is turned up.
Notes:
Tip (Workaround): If your device is on an older OS, consider using a 3.5mm audio cable to connect to the ViewBoard, or play the file directly on the ViewBoard via cloud storage.
Note: Apps with DRM protection (e.g., Netflix, Disney+) may still block audio/video sharing due to copyright restrictions.
