How to fix ghosting, shadowing, or double images on the screen?

Image artifacts are typically caused by signal degradation or interference. Bypass any docking stations and use high-quality certified cables.

  1. Bypass Adapters/Docks: Remove any [Docking Stations] or [Video Splitters]. Connect the monitor directly to your PC to test the image quality.

  2. Upgrade Cable Quality: For long-distance connections (over 3m/10ft), use an [HDMI Premium Certified] or high-quality shielded cable.

  3. Check Physical Connection: Ensure the cable connectors are clean (no oxidation) and securely seated in the [HDMI / DisplayPort] ports.

  4. Cross-Check: Test with a different device or a different cable to determine if the issue is with the monitor or the signal source.

Notes:

  • Caution: Low-quality VGA cables are the most common cause of shadowing. Use HDMI or DP for digital clarity whenever possible.

  • Tip: If the issue persists, perform a [Memory Recall] (Factory Reset) in the OSD menu to rule out incorrect settings.
