The monitor’s OSD pivot function is only effective for the OSD window itself. Additionally, the Auto Pivot software will be required for the operating system to automatically adjust the monitor’s orientation.
The Auto-Pivot function uses DDC/CI to communicate with the monitor. Please make sure not to turn off the monitor’s DDC/CI option in the OSD menu when you are using the Auto Pivot function.
For optimal performance, please make sure your monitor is fully up to date. If your VP2468 monitor’s firmware version is M001 or M002, please make sure your OSD Pivot and Auto-Pivot functions are, both, set to Auto.
Temporarily select a different OSD rotation option and then set the Auto option again. If the option is still greyed out, apply All Recall from the monitor’s OSD Setup Menu.
The OSD pivot function in the OSD menu only affects the OSD menu, itself. The “Auto-Pivot” application is required so that your operating system screen can automatically rotate with the monitor’s orientation.
You can set the Orientation setting to Landscape/CW90°/CCW90° or disable the “Auto Pivot” application.
Only the following models can support Auto Pivot function. VP2468/VP2771/VP2775/VP3268-4K/VP2785-4K
Auto Pivot is already integrated into the vDisplay Manager software. Both the Windows and Mac version of vDisplay Manager support this feature. You can download vDisplay Manager from ViewSonic's Professional Monitor website: https://color.viewsonic.com.
