The PLED-W500 uses the latest solid state LED technology that is mercury-free and lamp-free offering an overall greener energy projector that is maintenance-free. 500 lumens of brightness
Using only ¼ the power of a traditional lamp-based projector, and with a 6000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, the PLED-W500 is the bright choice for the mobile professional or the home office user. Industry reports show that LED light sources generate a different frequency and wavelength from conventional lamps. This results in the human eye perceiving brightness from a LED light source to be approximately 2.5 times brighter than from a conventional lamp, meaning a 500 lumen LED projector is equivalent to a 1200 lumen lamp-based projector.

With the optional WPD-100 WiFi adapter, a user can use the MobiShow™ App on their smart phones or tablets to send images wirelessly to the projector. The included MirrorOp™ client utility software allows the user to connect a laptop to the projector wirelessly and have complete control of the desktop screen for seemless presentations.
