Instructions for loading the nVIDIA 900 XGL & 980 XGL Video Card Driver

Note: Prior to Driver Installation, verify that you have the latest Driver version. To view optimal resolution (3840 x 2400) use driver version 41.04. Please check website for updates.

Step 1
Install either your nVIDIA 900 XGL or 980 XGL video card into your PC.

Step 2
Connect one of the Dual DVI video cables (Marked on the cable Primary 1) to the DVI port closest to the side of the Motherboard. Then connect Port Number 2 to the other of DVI connector (furthest away from the Motherboard.

Step 3
Turn on the PC and VP2290b display and proceed with the boot up process. The VP2290b display will "Turn on" without the installation of the nVIDIA 900 XGL or 980 XGL video card drivers but, for optimal resolution viewing you will need to proceed with the installation.

Step 4
Depending on which Operating System you are using, you will need to visit the nVIDIA website for the latest 900 XGL or 980 XGL drivers. Below is a list of links that will help you with the installation of your unit:

Step 5
After the nVIDIA driver is loaded you will need to Setup your Display Properties to optimize your viewing resolution. You will need to go to Display Properties > Settings > Advanced > Quadro4 900XGL or 980XGL depending on which video card driver you are using. When you "click" on the Quadro4 900XGL or 980XGL a "pop up" menu will display just left of the window that was originally opened. To activate the 3840 x 2400 optimal resolution you will need to "click" on the nView Display Mode Tab. This will allow you to view (4) nView Modes, factory default setting is "Standard (DualView)". Select "Horizontal Span" mode and "click" on "Apply" to be able to view the optimal resolution 3840 x 2400.

Step 6
In order to view 1920 x 1200, you will need to follow the previous directions in reverse order.
