Instructions for loading the ATI Fire GL4 Video Card Driver

Step 1
Install the ATI Fire GL4 video card into your PC.

Step 2
Connect the Dual DVI video cable to the video card by matching the Primary 1 connector on the video cable to the Number 1 Port on the video card. Do the same for Port Number 2.

Step 3
Turn on the PC and VP2290b display and proceed with the boot up process. The VP2290b display will "Turn on" without the installation of the ATI Fire GL4 video card driver but, for optimal viewing you will need to proceed with the installation.

Step 4
Depending on which Operating System you are using, you will need to visit the ATI website for the latest Fire GL4 driver. Below is a list of links that will help you with the installation of your unit: Step 5
After the Fire GL4 driver is loaded you will need to Setup your Display Properties to optimize your viewing resolution. You will need to go to Display Properties > Settings > Advanced > ATI Monitor. Click the tab for left monitor and then Set Custom Modes. NOTE. Although an attention dialog box appears, ignore the message and click OK.

Step 6
Select Display Properties > Settings > Advanced > Advanced Settings. Check the option Allow additional video Modes. Then click the OK button to enable the settings. This process should allow the User to view the VP2290b display at its optimal resolution which is 3840x2400.
