    If you asked me to tell you the bestselling Tablet PC on all of Amazon, I would immediately say the iPad 2, Motorola Xoom or Samsung Galaxy Tab.     The $299 gTablet has an iPad 2-like 10 inch multitouch LCD screen that is crisp and bright, and offers a beautiful 1024 x 600 display. The tablet-favorite Tegra 2 processor and Android 2.2 Froyo OS works swiftly together, and the user interface is smooth. It works naturally, and intuitively. The 1080p video playback is very visually pleasing, and it comes with 16GB (upgradeable to 32GB via the SD slot).

    For comparison, the Viewsonic G Tablet is only 6 ounces heavier than the iPad 2, and much lighter than most tablets. It is less than an inch taller than the iPad 2, and similar in other measurements. And the front is nearly edge to edge screen, which is very impressive looking. At the top center of the screen is a 1.3 mp front facing webcam for video calls and chats, and a really nice feature is the light sensor that auto-adjusts the screen for you depending on the amount of light hitting it.

    The 11 to 14 hour run time, even when watching movies and surfing, is absolutely phenomenal, and Wifi access was perfect, no complaints. I can see why, at $200 less than the iPad 2 and most other tablets, the Viewsonic  g Tablet is the top selling tablet on all of Amazon, and could easily be the early candidate for “sleeper tablet of the year” awards.
