ViewSonic Closes Sale of Advanced Digital Optics
WALNUT, Calif., Aug. 3, 2004 – ViewSonic® Corp., a worldwide leader in visual display products, announced today the completion of the sale of its majority-owned subsidiary, Advanced Digital Optics, Inc. (ADO ), to JDS Uniphase. The aggregate purchase price of $12 million will be paid to ViewSonic and other ADO investors.ADO has been a ViewSonic subsidiary since 2001.
