Both displays feature OptiSync™, ViewSonic's digital and analog dual-mode technology, and SuperClearMVA™ technology, which provides a high contrast ratio and vibrant colors for photo-like image quality. The ultra-fast video display response rate delivers enhanced picture clarity and perfect focus, even when viewing moving images.
In addition to image quality, the VG191 and the VG171 offer an easy-to-use on-screen interface that allows users to select and lock-in screen preferences to prevent accidental changes. To ensure ease of installation, the monitors are equipped with ViewSonic Wizard CD-ROM software, and support both digital (DVI) and analog (VGA) connectivity. The new LCDs are also energy efficient, using up to 70 percent less energy than a traditional CRT monitor and comply with the strictest safety and environmental standards.
The VG191 and the VG171, as well as their black versions VG191b and VG171b, are currently available through authorized ViewSonic resellers, distributors and mail order catalogs.
